ACCA Manual J, S & D Training:

Ms. Savoy has been certified by ACCA in Manual J, S & D since 2012.  She was one of the first people in the United States to complete this 26 module class when ACCA began to offer.  The course has a 250+ question final exam which Ms. Savoy scored a 94%

Ms. Savoy has also studied extensively the
ACCA Manual J, Manual S, Manual D & Manual T books written by Hank Rutkowski.

In addition, Ms. Savoy has completed courses in:

     ACCA Manual RS – covers design concepts, system performance characteristics, and design procedures pertaining to residential comfort
     ACCA Manual H – Principles and applications of heat pump systems

Wrightsoft Right-J & Right-D experience:

2005:  Ms. Savoy attended her first Wrightsoft 2-Day Manual J, S & D training at RST Mechanical owned by Richard Trethewey of This Old   House.  Ms. Savoy was 1 of 12 people specifically invited to attend this special training session.

2005-2006:  Ms. Savoy beta tested the Right-HV (Unico small duct high velocity) module for Wrightsoft for 1 year prior to being released to the public

Ms. Savoy has repeated the 2-Day Wrightsoft Manual J, S & D training in 2006, 2008, 2011 and 2016 so she is current with software changes

2005-2006:  Performed Manual J & D SDHV Designs for Unico Systems in St. Louis, MO

We complete approximately 700 ACCA Manual J, S & D HVAC designs per year.  100% PASS rate with permit offices


Ms. Savoy worked full time as an Analytical Chemist for the FDA and then private industry while attending night school for 12.5 years

2002:  Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering with minors in Chemistry & Math, University of Missouri – St. Louis

Magna Cum Laude, GPA = 3.7;  National Dean’s List - top 0.5% of graduates in the United States

2004:  Masters of Science Engineering Management, University of Missouri – Rolla
